Good to read that the Dash-8 will be in production again.
Toronto's loss is Calgary's gain. As a Canadian I am happy to hear about this exciting development.
Looks like we will see a restart of not only the Dash 8-400 but also the iconic Twin Otter an aircraft that is indispensable in places likes the Caribbean and the Maldives for island hopping.
The plant will also build a new water bomber ("super scooper"). The owner of the new company is Canada's wealthiest female billionaire and so there are some deep pockets behind this company.
