Boeing Tested Air Purifiers Like Those Widely Used in Schools. It Decided Not to Use Them in Planes

Sadly, the Covid pandemic has been a boon to many companies that market "air purification" systems, most of which have little to no data to prove they actually do what they claim they do. I think a lot of companies buy these things just to say "look, we are doing something here to prevent infection". Just my opinion after reading some of the literature on air purification.

After reading the article that shows why Boeing decided not to use these air purifiers; the more accurate title should be "...Not to Use Them in Planes Because They Don't Work'.

If anyone is wondering what the difference is between clickbait and a big fat lie, the title of this article is a great example of the latter.

It's a bizarre title, I'll grant you that. It might mislead people into thinking Boeing is choosing not to use effective air purifiers, which is not the gist of the article itself.
