American Airlines plans to end flights to Phoenix in August

A third airline has announced its discontinuing a route out of Humboldt County this year. American Airlines is ending its service between the Humboldt County airport and Phoenix on Aug. 15. American Airlines is the third airline to terminate at least one of its routes this year after Aha! Airlines canceled flights to Reno and Avelo Airlines canceled flights to Las Vegas.
