2,100 square meters of paint must be pretty heavy even when dry. Anybody know what that would be?
Old time airlines used as little paint as possible to save weight and gain revenue. Plus there is less maintenance with less paint.
Is there some reason why that practice was abandoned?

for one, carbon fiber requires a coating of some sort. plus how else is one supposed to keep up with the joneses?
