Ryanair To Use Spain's 'Ghost' Airport - Report
Ryanair is set to announce commercial flights from Spanish 'ghost' airport Castellón, a symbol of profligate government spending during the country's property boom, El Pais reported. Ryanair will be the first airline to run regular flights from the airport near Valencia on Spain's Mediterranean coast, built at a cost of EUR€150 million (USD$161 million) only to stand empty for nearly four years. Well, O'Leary must have gotten one heck of a break on landing fees to come in there and start, and if capacity is not there, I doubt he'll stay long.
RyanAir is also well known as small airports ghost maker....if there is something to beg around O Leary is there...ask to some chambers of commerce in south France ..they have good souvenirs..
