Footage of Arkansas Police Helicopter Crash Released
Newly released surveillance video shows a frightening helicopter crash in Arkansas at a training facility. Footage captured the pilot struggling to gain control as soon as it lifts off, then the chopper rolls to the side. The pilot sustained a head injury. Officials say severe winds are to blame. Reports indicated cause of crash was high winds. To me it looks like the only wind was created by the helicopter (look at the bushes). It seems the proximal cause was getting hooked on the trailer (after losing good control).
