Injured Qantas passengers to sue Airbus

Размещено

Passengers on a Qantas flight from Singapore to Perth that twice plunged hundreds of metres - injuring more than 100 people - will sue manufacturer Airbus in the US over a computer malfunction that caused the mishap. The Airbus A330 had to make an emergency landing in Learmonth in West Australia's north-west in 2008 after the mayday alert. (www.smh.com.au) Ещё...

If it's not Boeing, I'm not going.

If the seatbelt sign was ON and all announcements were made for the passengers to remain seated, they have no leg to stand on in the court of law.

A seated, belted passenger could still be injured by other people or objects flying through the air. Just the terror alone is actionable if it was a defect the manufacturer should have known about. If you can demonstrate standing in a US Court, your case might be worth more than other countries involved.

Seems like the A330 has had it's fair share of problems lately.
