Seriously, I can see why Mayor Scott is disappointed. Outside of chartering, this leaves AAL as the only carrier going into KSUX. UAL hasn't flown in there in a long while, NWA dropped service either prior to or at the cost of the DAL merger, and SWA never flew there.
So unless they want to pay the high fares that AAL will have there, passengers are making the drive up to KFSD to pick up AAY, or driving down to KOMA. So I guess it does make the statement true: That SUX.
