Whatever happened to the "standard" canned comment that there will be "light rain showers" no matter the severity of the weather enroute?
Maybe it's time for someone to seek other employment.
I was thinking the very same as you.
Do they have some sarcastic crewman at United, or what??? Yes, I know, they are humans too, but there is really no need to scare passangers this way, only because the pilot was somewhat pissed off.
