McDonnell Douglas MD-83 (N965TW)
Finally!! SNOW at Reno Tahoe International!! 80% of Americans are surrounded by snow and they are wishing it would melt away while Reno is in the midst of a three year drought and has not seen falling snow in what seems like ages. I've been waiting thru three winters in hopes of attempting to snap photos through the snow. This is not easy to do; it is tremendously difficult to get a clear focus (AND keep the snowflakes from landing on the lens) during a wind-driven snow squall. But I caught several pictures in which the aircraft is crisply clicked right through the snow. In this shot, AA's N965TW, an ex-TWA MD-83, rotates away from runway 34L just as the snow is beginning to fall heavily.

Great shot! 5 stars for sure
Gary- nice catch! The green tinge to the wings and H-stab top surfaces is the type 3 or 4 anti icing fluid. The fluid slides off as the airspeed picks up, leaving a nice clean wing. 5*
