Boeing 747-400 (VH-OEH)

Great shot! I flew this exact 744 to RJTT. 5*!

B-744s don't usually fly into Rockhampton, Qld, but this was a charter flight moving troops around for Talisman Sabre 2019. It would have used the full length of the runway to get airborne (from this angle it looks like it was just clearing the perimeter fence, but there's plenty of runway left).

Nice shot but, its a 747-400ER it says Longreach near the nose.

I'm lucky I got these Jumbos as it was the last time they will visit my home town. QANTAS is retiring all of them. There might be the odd Atlas Global 747 on military charter, but no more with the flying kangaroo. I feel lucky to have seen three this year.
