This aircraft's tail number is 73-1677. USAF aircraft do NOT carry "N" numbers, which are used exclusively by civilian or non-military government aircraft. The picture shows a Boeing E-4B and is used as a national command post.

I used to see these come into RAF Mildenhall while I was stationed there in the early '90's. They carried their own Security Police. No one was going no where near that aircraft. Funny thing is one of our MOD civilians was authorized to fleet the airctaft.
