I noticed that in the other photo of C-GDYZ, the aircraft has wheels instead of skids. Was the registration transferred to a different airframe, or was the aircraft converted? Does anyone know?
Torsten Hoff - The Canadian Civil Aircraft Register shows only one Bell 214ST, with Bell Helicopter's mfg. s/n 28109, as being assigned the registration C-GDYZ.
This 214ST was manufactured in 1982 and imported into Canada by Helicopter Transport Services (Canada) Inc. in 2010 and registered with its current mark.
The Bell 214ST model offered an option for skid or wheel landing gear. Apparently there was a conversion done to this one at some point in time.
