With 4,000' of recently rebuilt runway available, as the wealth continues it's steady march up the coast of Maine, these NetJets aircraft are going to be a more and more common site on the Eastport Municipal Airport apron. Bar Harbor is just about saturated with seasonal residents and waves of tourists. As has been the case over the previous decades, this results in more people exploring the options further north in search of more affordable property, as well as less chaotic scene. This migration north will continue, but can only do so until a limit is reached. That limit being the border with Canada, as Eastport is literally the last stop in the US heading north.
