A VAQ-136 (Electronic Attack Squadron One Thirty Six) "Gauntlets" E/A-18G Growler, 166936, puts the mains down right by the keys on the runway 31L concrete as it returns to NAS Fallon after completing a combat training sortie. The "Gauntlets' Growlers are out of NAS Whidbey Island and are currently assigned to Carrier Air Wing Two, USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA).

Lots of Growlers from different squadrons here at NFL. In addition to the "Gauntlets," there are "Cougars" and "Yellowjackets" here. Mixed pairs of Growlers are flying missions all day long.
