Boeing PT-17 Kaydet (N940V)
Framed by the dark clouds that were dropping rain near the airport and snow a few miles away in the Sierra Nevada, N940V (originally USAAF Reg 41-8421), a Stearman PT-17 Kaydet, is snapped as it is about 500 feet from landing at Reno Stead to join the 2019 National Championship Air Races event at RTS.
This is the first picture of N940V to be posted in FA's photo gallery.

Built in 1941, N940V is now owned by Larry Tobin.
