yes good view...What aircraft is the tanker.

The tanker is an A-7E Corsair II. The picture was taken from the right seat of either an A-6E or KA-6D. The right seat was occupied by the BN (Bombardier/Navigator).

Notice the very faint markings on the A-7, identifying it as from Attack Squadron 82 Marauders ("VA-82" on forward lower tail) of Carrier Air Wing 8 ("AJ" on upper center of tail), based aboard "USS Nimitz" (on top of tail cone) (CVN-68).
