CONVAIR QF-106 Delta Dart — - Fla. ANG F-106s on ramp prior to F-16s arrival, A few 2 seat versions in line up. Beautiful aircraft, Magnificent sound. I loved to hear them scramble with ABs lit. I live 3 miles from rwy 13/31.

Glad I was able to see some F-106's as a kid at Wright Pat in Dayton ……..

You should have seen these scramble full afterburner straight out of the revetments at the end of the runway a KCMA in the late '50s. First there was the F-102 squadron and the the F-106s stationed there.
