Transamerica, a conglomerate corporation, had their fingers in many pies back then. Here they are operating a commercial cargo L-100 Hercules!

Sam, this Lockheed L-100 in Transamerica Airlines' livery is nice to see. I imagine some FA members will recall that stylized letter "T" logo on the tail from going to the movies. Transamerica owned United Artists. Also owned Budget Rent A Car... and they loomed large in the financial and insurance sectors. Should mention the iconic Transamerica Pyramid tower in San Francisco too.
