Lockheed C-5 Galaxy (N70035) - C-5M, tail number 70035 made four passes over James Island, SC, near Charleston on the afternoon of 11 September 2018 as I readied our house for the possible onslaught of Hurricane Florence. Each pass was 15 minutes apart. We don’t get to see many C-5s over Charleston since they left Charleston AFB in 1973. I still miss the distinctive sound of the older C-5s. Thankfully, we had no damage from the storm, but our thoughts are with those north of us in SC, NC and possibly VA.
