The next time you’re thinking of throwing away a used boarding pass with a barcode on it, consider tossing the boarding pass into a document shredder instead. As an IT security guy too, always shred any document that has your name or any other personal information on it, not just boarding passes. on a trip and no shredder handy? Tear it into small pieces and flush it.
