Horizon's very colorful "Oregon Ducks" college liverybird (N407QX) is just a few moments from landing on runway 34R at Reno Tahoe International. On this particular day, three consecutive QXE flights arriving at Reno were special paintbirds.

Yes, we in the United States are also mourning the tragedy in the mountains. Every air crash is a terrible event, but this one is especially heartbreaking with all lives being lost. My condolences to all families, to all airline personnel, and to all in Germany.
