In my experience, an aviation job I applied for (a few years back) that was a Teamster Union job, would of worked out to just OVER 1/4 of my yearly take home for monthly Union dues.. Living in a HIGH Cost area and having MUCH experience in the industry it was NOT for me.. So yes for some Union jobs my math is spot on..

How so? Delta employees HAVE had the opportunity to vote yes or no on Unions in the past and those votes have clearly shown where Delta employees stand. One of the most on time and highest customer service rated (consistently lately) have also shown Delta's employees are leading the leading cause of that. I grew up with a parent who was 15+ years with Delta never Unioned. Besides that Delta's benefits and stock option/payouts to the employees are some of the best if NOT the best and not just for pilots. I work (corporate aviation) with a few EX Airline Mechanics who came to us as A&Ps and got sick of the Union and the constant teetering on if hey were gonna even be working the ext day because of the labor Union.. Unions can be good but this isn't the turn of the century Industrial revolution anymore.. Workers have protection without having to pay 1/4 of their salary to a Union "pretending" to go after the Bean Counters and be the Martyr.. Just my $0.02...

Well where else are they suppose to be Captain idiot..? The employee was a ramper and already badged and what not and worked on the ramp for a few years.. The TSA can be annoying but do you expect they of been doing? Gone to speak to a psychic and challenged this guy on the ramp w/o having any clue he was going to do what he did??

Trump didn't sign the agreement with Iran bro... Besides who is saying this is going to start a war..? Iran has been sleeping with terrorist groups like the Hezbollah for years.. You also prove you can NOT read as you argued against coptermechanic for saying he should serve in the "army" when he clearly indicated he DID serve. I tried volunteering for AF as a pilot a few years ago and had a flight slot but "lost" it to a medical issue.. Or else i'd be one of those in his Army fighting for YOU...

1 person has died on board a SWA airplane in their history.. The guy in 2000 who was trying to attached the flight crew doesn't count. Nor does the child in MDW in 2005 as sad as that was. But you Don't get that safety record by luck and rolling the dice.. Besides that, SWA also is the ONLY.. yes the ONLY US carrier that does NOT rape you for bag and change fees. I really hope you do not work in this industry.

No.. a weak demand in what was to be a HOT destination is the excuse... Everyone is pulling the plug on Cuba.. It may be a stronger market in 5-10 years but the honeymoon is over and airlines are moving their aircraft off Cuba markets and to markets they can actually make $$$ on.

You don't even need a high school education to internet troll.

You're a special kinda of troll... If you had half a brain you would know washing an airplane is bit more cumbersome and important. Just ask the families of the folks on Aeroperu flight 603. Funny how you defend someone who took an opinion of an airlines maintenance from a video about an airline and how "they sprayed soap on a plane, then they scrubbed it off." Want to borrow my tissues?

You DO realize that this video is NOT up for an Academy Award right? It is a general video to show the airplane washing process to aviation enthusiasts alike. Besides your comments aimed at SWA"s maintenance are quite ignorant.
