Money manager who crashed plane to be sentenced
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (AP) — An Indiana money manager who admitted stealing investors' money to finance his lavish lifestyle and to trying to fake his own death by parachuting out of an airplane and allowing it to crash was due in court Thursday to be sentenced. Marcus Schrenker, 39, agreed to a 10-year prison term when he pleaded guilty last month to securities fraud. I can't believe they didn't give him more time in the slammer! What a tool.
Thanks for posting this. I wondered whatever happened to this person. What a shame. He had it all too. Ten years seems like too little of a sentence.
