I too question why the pilot's weapon wasn't holstered during flight. This to me is a breach in the integrity of the pilot. Was he paranoid or just showing off. Fine him and make him do remedial training. I think this should set a precedent in bi-annual training of pilots who should flying the airplane, not worrying about where to store their weapons.
