Much is made of the fact that this aircraft is much more fuel effecient that other Airbus airplanes. And though the "neo" stands for "new engine option" it is the airframe itself that seems to get all the kudos. My question is how much of the increased fuel efficiency is direcly attributable to the airframe and how much to the to the engine?
