safe to say they didn't run out of fuel

Looks like they went missed on the first approach and crashed attempting a second. From the video of the wreckage it does not appear that he ran out of fuel. Sad day in Nasheville.

It's the only Gulfstream 690C registered in Kansas and the flight track speaks for it's self.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all involved. It's a sad day for all who love aviation. I hope that this accident gets solved so that all can learn and be safer at what they do. Except for the non-standard intercept, it looks like the first approach attempt was good. If the reason for the missed was ceiling or vis, it was probably time to go over to BNA. If the pilot saw something that made him determine that a second attempt would be successful, then he had every reason to try again. Ice may have been a factor but speeds looked pretty good. Bank angles may have been steep though. Maybe ice on the windshield caused the first missed and he thought he could clear it for the second try and became distracted or ice overcame the aircraft. Wake turbulence from heavier aircraft arriving or departing from BNA could easily send the aircraft out of control with little time for or thought of a radio call. We may also never know. The only things we do know are that the pilot did not want to crash and for some reason or reasons he did. RIP
