IAH flight cancellations, delays: Airport tops US travel 'misery' map
Houston led the nation in Misery Sunday, and it had little to do with the Texans. Flight-tracking service FlightAware's MiseryMap tallied 56 flights scheduled to depart from George Bush Intercontinental Sunday between noon and 4 p.m. that were delayed and two that were cancelled. That means nearly half of the flights scheduled during that period offered travelers a miserable experience. An additional nine flights from the smaller Hobby Airport were delayed during that period. Thankfully no one appears to be looking at Canada- mostly YYZ which has a poor passenger service record. At least you are flying in the USA! Services in Canada are heavily unionized, and very very inefficient due to massive amounts of “red tape”. The shortage of pilots and overall talent in aviation is critical, affecting all of us! Our current supply chain issues could have been moderated with honest foresight and leadership. The same principles apply to solutions. Not admitting to mistakes is counterproductive .
YYZ is the worst airport I have ever been to. Sadly many international flights require a trip to YYZ were they treat passengers like we are an inconvenience.
Why do you, FA post articles from a newspaper that allows ZERO free article reads?
I agree should not have links to stories that will not open.
Also unreadable as my Chronicle is delivered about half the time ...
