I checked the FAA Website and there has been no recent ADs issued on this issue. It is an old problem and the system had redundancy built in years ago. I wonder what they might be talking about. Just Drama maybe?

AD 2021-14-20 issued today is for every 737 flying today. A simple check every 2,000 flying hours.

The use of cheap parts, and re-certified parts, cannibalized from junk is the moniker of Boeing. New planes are not new. The are recirculated parts of prior failures and condemned junkers.

*sigh*

Can they save themselves, or not?

They seem to be determined to be strapped into the electric chair. Yikes. And their stock price is over $200? *WHY*? *HOW?*

Do not buy Boeing stock! Just say no!!!

Extremely important system. As a Flight Engineer on C-141s in the Air Force, we had a pressurization failure while we were climbing out. It's one of the systems that the Flight Engineer has to monitor. I noticed that we were not pressurizing and told the crew to put on oxygen masks. As we were passing 10,000 feet, I was trying to engage this one switch which would restore our pressurization. I flipped the switch back and forth many times, and on the Pilot's instruction, I kept flipping it hoping to get a spark through that switch to get it to work. After doing that at least 20 to 30 times, it finally engaged.

Good Lord, is there any end in Dwight to Boeings embarrassing list of product problems.. ?I'm worn out from reading about them, time for some good news.

The only good news we could hear from Boeing is an entire change of directors and management.

I bet anyone that a good chunk of these planes are from the MAX series.

I will take that bet. The directive is pretty clear if you read it. All 737 Series aircraft.

This has to do with the cabin pressurization warning, so I would expect all models to be affected.
