Geez... Aren't people getting panicky... The best thing the news media could do is to DROP all articles that anywhere relate to the boston marathon. The Terrorist wants this attention. Best thing that could happen is for the news media to move away, go mute on it, and let the investigators do their job... News People only get in the way.

I was working a plane once that had an emergency and a news crew approached me and said "Can you tell us anything", I said "YES... It's Broke" and went back to work.
