American Airlines Listed in "10 Brands that will Disappear in 2013"
The popular investors website 24/7 Wall St. comprises a list every year which lists 10 brands that will "disappear" by the time next years' list comes out. Using criteria such as "a rapid fall-off in sales and steep losses", AA took the #1 spot on this years list. (247wallst.com) Ещё...

They may know more than I do BUT they didn't list anything out there as a reason that hasn't already been told or addressed. There may even be a merger down the line but it will be after AA comes out of BR as an independent, rather than being forced to before it emerges.
