American Airlines Begins Recalling 17,500 Furloughed Workers, Even With Aid Package in Flux

AA also made a payroll deposit into the employees' bank accounts on Christmas Eve. Hopefully it all works out for them. I'm sure the money is a welcome relief for a lot of families.
he wants more for each of us... and less for foreign countries... the bill is 5000 pages long and mostly benefits big corps and foreign nations...with a piddling $600 per AMERICAN... blame congress for loading it with pork...not the President who's trying to get more for US...
oh my.i DO hope it all works out..we can only hope american as well as other airlines are not putting the plow before the horse so to speak..it would be wonderful to have the 2000$ sent to people rather than 600$,but to say no to everything to play political games as mr trump is doing is not acceptable .......
Companies work on the 'going concern concept' that things continue reasonably. Excluded from that concept is a pocket veto that, in effect, shuts down government response to the pandemic (among other things) until the next administration comes Jan 20. That's sort of like punching a hole in the game ball because you didn't get selected for the team.
I AM SORRY PEOPLE "ARROWED DOWN" MY COMMENT, BUT WHAT I STATED IS TRUE..TRUMP LATE YERSTERDAY FINALLY SIGNED THEEXISTING BILL SO PEOPLE COULD AT LEAST HAVE SOME RELIEF,AND IT DOES INCLUDE THE LOAN PACKAGE TO THE AIRLINES SO THEY CAN BRING BACK WORKERS..
