Guyana international airports to remain closed until August 1

The Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) on Wednesday announced that the phased reopening of the country’s international airports will be delayed by one month due to the spike in COVID-19 cases. In a statement released by GCAA said that the decision to adjusted its Four Phase Reopening Plan was made after careful assessment of the current COVID-19 situation in Guyana and other international ports where flights to Guyana originates.
