Some of this $3.5 billion will be raised by selling shares of common stock. During the good times before the Covid-19-induced demand collapse, they were buying back shares. Ironic....
all of the airlines need cash input now to add to the government loans given out..it would be an even worse blow to the economy worldwide,were a lot of carriers to go into bankruptcy and fold...
