Fresh off a court appearance in Toronto, troubled pop princeling Justin Bieber has run into new woes after touching down today at New Jersey's Teterboro Airport, where authorities detected a strong odor of marijuana on his plane, according to a report on nypost.com.

Bieber — who's had a horrible month, even by bad-boy celebrity standards — apparently is in town for the Super Bowl party scene.

It was unclear if Bieber was on the plane, the report said. Authorities were awaiting a drug-sniffing dog team to examine the jet, reported to be a twin-jet Raytheon Hawker 800.

The plane, which arrived shortly before 3 p.m., is believed to have taken off in Canada. Bieber was questioned by police in Toronto earlier this week after he was accused of assault.

The singer was briefly jailed last week in Miami after police stopped him for drag-racing. He was charged with driving under the influence and resisting arrest.

At the same time, Bieber remains under investigation for felony vandalism, an outgrowth of an egg-throwing incident involving the singer's neighbor in a gated community in Calabasas, Calif.
