Quest Kodiak (N112KQ)
Rare visitor departing with the infamous Mt Umunhum in the background. Note the square "box" on top of the Mountian. It's an abandoned radar facility that was used back in the Cold War to protect the California coast from incoming ships/planes/etc.

That site was just awarded heritage status last month - it's going to be around for a while.....
Yes it was! I plan on volunteering for the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District when they start the construction to build the park up there.
