San andres is a very popular destination and gets moderate air traffic, very easy approach and most pilots are used to land in bad weather. very similar to AA crash.....

It is amazing that anyone survived let alone all but one passenger who died of indirect injuries. This is testimonial to how well built today’s airframes are. As a former Air Force Aircraft Repairman I always preferred working on the Boeing Aircraft. Boeing builds a great aircraft.

Preliminary reports say the plane was caught in a down draft just before touch or was struck by lightning, possibly both. Either way credit has to go to the pilots for getting the plane to the runway.

Lightning never separate the plane into three sections. Bad weather conditions, landing syndrome, sometimes do with the pilots did not evaluate the conditions of flight and come with the airplane destabilized. The plane should have touched down with high speed and ready to sections of the plane is gone! But wait for data from box registers to fly. As we saw touched the ground before the 1000ft mark and the witnesses said they felt pain in the ears, which means they made a descent angle and speed out of the ordinary.

The flight number was 8250 from BOG to ADZ, domestic flight. There are conflicting reports about the total of passengers and crew aboard. One source says that theres was one fatality (heart attack on the way to the hospital), 114 injured and 6 unharmed.
No matter what this was short of a miracle! Instead of trying to second-guess the witness reports, it is better to wait for the data in the flight and voice recorders.
