British Airways plane makes second unplanned landing in three days
A British Airways plane is being examined for faults after its crew twice had to make unscheduled landings in three days. On both occasions the Boeing 777 had to to touch down at Shannon airport in Ireland due to what BA described as technical issues. In the first incident on Friday the plane was flying from Heathrow airport to Boston, USA, when it put down at Shannon. After being checked over, the plane carried on to Boston.
