Although not a favorite of the AF brass it's a darling to infantrymen and a nightmare for the enemy.

This is a renowned veteran. Awesome shot!

The AF's Bad Boy! Love it.

Army loves the Warthog!

A prime example of a purpose built aircraft, versus some of the conventional 'wisdom' of a jack of all trades aircraft such as the F-35 is hoped to be......
Joe Vincent
My experience was that ones that were "jack of all trades" were equally "master one none."

Love this bird!

Longtime Army aviation guy here and we really DO love our A-10 buddies. We have worked very closely with them forever and feel very much like family amongst them. Our ground commanders equally love the Warthog guys. Many many saves and foiled ambushes are credited to the A-10 gang. I agree with all previous comments and would like to add that in my experience the A-10 is a no nonsense, get in there, kick everybody's a**, and move along to the next target type of aircraft and crew mentality. Which, by the way, is how it should always be when it's time to pull the trigger regardless of platform or system. Much love for our fellow USAF close air support partners.

This A-10 from fort wane is sporting an mxu cargo pod refurbished by EhPro Custom Fab And it makes me vary proud to furnish support to the incredible men and woman in our military.

This is the most "bang for the buck" aircraft the U.S. Air Force is flying... and there's still upper echelon AF generals who want to mothball the A-10 to fund their favored F-35 pie-in-the-sky science project.
