Boeing 757-200 (N183AN) - This Boeing 757 has just left the maintenance area and is taxiing west on taxiway Delta and turning left onto taxiway Romeo at LAX. Many of the paved but non taxiway areas of LAX are painted green to make the public think that LAX is an oasis, not a desert and to keep the pilots from taking shortcuts between taxiways with big heavy airplanes.
